The trials organized by TTRL in collaboration with the NTPC and Prism Cements to load fly ash in BTAP wagons went without a hitch. Fly ash was loaded from the NTPC unit in Rihand and discharged at the Prism Cement plant at Satna. The trials were also closely monitored by the IR and this success will open doors for extensive rail movement within the fly ash/ cement industry. This trial was most eagerly awaited by the industry and TTRL was glad to be of service.
